General Assembly Final Project
2020
In February of 2020, I took a User Experience Design course at General Assembly — their final in-person course prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For my General Assembly final project, I sought out to make the process of donating belongings more convenient for those with stuff to unload, and more impactful for those in need. During this process, I:
Conducted user research via interviews
Conducted usability testing
Created personas
Navigated user flows
Built out information architecture
Created preliminary designs via sketching
Designed high fidelity wireframes
Built a working prototype of the product
I compiled professional documentation at each step, from defining user problems to solution design and prototyping, and presented my work in front of an audience.
